Here’s how it works:

A fan draws in air containing heat energy across the evaporator.
The evaporator transforms the liquid refrigerant into a gas.
The compressor pressurizes the refrigerant into a hot gas.
The hot gas inside the condenser coil heats the water in the coil-wrapped tank.
After heating the water, the refrigerant reverts back to a liquid and returns to the evaporator, starting the process again.
This cycle continues until the target temperature is reached.
